The purpose of this project is to perform the pre-construction and construction phases of the subject project. The Jacumba FS is a one-story facility, the scope of work shall include 2 apparatus bays/double deep, lobby, office, 6 dormitory rooms, restrooms, kitchen, dining room, day room, gym, solar photovoltaic panel energy collection system and battery, storage parking spaces, path of travel improvement and ancillary support features including an IT/station alerting/phone/data, equipment storage, hose rack, generator, security fencing and other miscellaneous items. Sitework shall include parking, septic system, water wells, 4 above ground 10,000 gallons water storage tanks, a large storm water collection system, hose rack, generator, and other miscellaneous items as reflected in the design drawings. The project shall comply with the state title 24 (sustainability) requirements set forth by the state of California, a design effort for a more sustainable future. The project shall meet ZNE requirements and will be designed with 30% of embodied carbon reduction and will be Gold LEED certified.
