• The Contractor shall remove and dispose of a total of four (4) water source package units located in one mechanical closet on the second floor. WSHP #6, 7, 14A, and 14B shall all be replaced with energy efficient with like tonnage and function, R-454B (A2L – Class) refrigerant-based units, furnished and installed by the Contractor. • The Contractor shall furnish, install, and be responsible for any required work and components including but not limited to plumbing, hoses, valves, reconfiguration of duct work to produce an air tight seal, insulation, and electrical components, preexisting or new, per code and manufactures instructions. • The County will coordinate the disconnection of the existing controls however, it shall be the Contractors responsibility to coordinate with Envirocon to reconnect all the controls. • The Contractor shall ensure that all new units are balanced. • Schedule of work shall take place on a scheduled weekend, determined by Carteret County Government. At no time shall the units be nonoperational during normal business hours. If such incident arises, it shall be the Contractors responsibility to provide adequate HVAC for all spaces affected. • The Contractor shall provide submittals of the new WSHP(s) with proposal. • The Contractor shall submit any warranty information on behalf of the County. Warranty on the new equipment shall include a one-year parts and labor, three-year parts and five-year compressor warranty. • Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be the Contractors responsibility to fix or replace at the County’s discretion. • A site visit must be scheduled by contacting the POC below. • The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices to the POC (including a copy of any permits), and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. Permits shall be posted onsite at project location. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur.
