• Materials must comply with ASTM D1784 for cell classification 12454 or 12364. • All pipe sizes 15” or smaller must meet or exceed the performance requirements listed in the current version of ASTM D3034. • All pipe sizes 18” through 24” must meet or exceed the performance requirements listed in the current version of ASTM F679. • Pipe sized 4” through 15” shall have marking on the pipe for identification of nominal pipe size, cell classification, SDR class, ASTM designation D3034, material code, manufacturer’s name and code. • Pipe sized 18” through 24” shall have markings on pipe for identification of nominal pipe size, cell classification, pipe stiffness designation (PS series), ASTM designation F679, material code, manufacturer’s name and code. • Additional labeling on the SDR 26 and PS 115 sewer series must include the words: “Heavy Wall Sewer Pipe.” • The integral bell join system must conform to ASTM D3212. • All gaskets used in the manufacturing of the pipe comply with ASTM F477 standards. • Gasketed sewer pipe shall be green. Solvent weld sewer pipe must be available in both green and white.
