1. Project Meetings and Project Management: The Consultant will coordinate Project meetings as needed, develop the Project management timeline, and ensure quality assurance on all analyses and deliverables. 2. Data and Ordinance Review and Analysis: This task covers the data review and analysis work that will serve as the foundation for later tasks in the Project. The Consultant will conduct research to understand all related existing City ordinances, policies, and guidelines including the Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive Plan and Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan, and ordinances in other peer cities with similar goals. The components of this task will facilitate strategic discussions and inform decisions for next steps. 3. Engagement: Engagement with community members, community organizations, environmental groups, developers and contractors, and City staff is crucial to gather diverse perspectives and ensure equity and inclusivity in decision-making. The Consultant will identify all necessary partners, develop an engagement plan, and engage them. This community-informed engagement will ultimately determine the details of the ordinance.
