In general, the Work will consist of: Median and pedestrian refuge demolition and construction at four intersections, Curb ramp demolition and construction and associated sidewalk installation at two corners, Slurry seal and new pavement striping along approximately ½-mile of Sacramento Street (from Oregon Street to Fairview Street), Solar-powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) installation at three intersections, and Sign and delineator installation at seven intersections. More specifically, the Work consists of, but is not limited to, traffic control, coordination with utility companies and nearby residents, concrete and asphalt sawcutting and removal, protecting utilities in-place, removing and replacing existing monuments, removal of existing signs, removal of pavement striping, markings, and markers, adjusting utilities to finished grade, gutter modifications, installation of concrete medians and pedestrian refuge islands, installation of mountable median islands, reconstruction of curb ramps, slurry seal, installation of pavement markings, striping, markers, and curb paint, installation of RRFBs including poles, foundations, solar panels, push buttons, pull boxes, conduit, and conductors, and installation of new signs and posts.
