The firm selected will demonstrate sufficient knowledge, experience, and resources to serve as a renewable energy/portfolio standard administration and oversight consultant. The firm will demonstrate the ability to, at the direction of staff and the RIPUC: • administer the registration of new renewable facilities, including small-scale solar aggregations. • oversee compliance with fuel and generation reporting for biogenic generators. • oversee compliance requirements for imported renewable energy. • oversee Obligated Entities’ compliance with the RES annually. • draft communications to customers and orders related to the tasks above. • communicate with external stakeholders on behalf of staff regarding the RES. • provide recommendations for existing and new issues. • prepare compliance data and analysis for the RIPUC’s annual report to the General Assembly on the status of the RES; • maintain and share knowledge of regional RES/RPS developments to support development of the RES and development of the annual report to the General Assembly; and • other tasks necessary to maintain compliance with the RES Rules and Regulations.
