Spring clean-up: Maintenance shall consist of spring removal of old mulch, pruning, mowing, pest management, weeding beds, weed/insect/disease control, litter control and any other procedures consistent with good horticultural practice necessary to ensure normal, vigorous, and healthy growth of turf and landscape plantings. Mulch Replacement Early Spring Contractor shall remove old mulch and replenish mulch to maintain a depth of no less than two and a half inches deep in all designated areas. Mulch shall be brown shredded hardwood. Red bark mulch or dust shall not be used. Lawn maintenance will also include: Includes at least two (2) treatments for weeds and pests.
