2.1. General Fuel to be purchased shall be dispensed from a point of sale located within an approximate two (2) mile radius of the City of Sonora, California. Fuel shall be available on twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week basis, weekends and holidays included. County reserves the right to consider costs associated with facility location in determining proposal award, including, but not limited to, vehicle mileage costs, labor costs, and time costs/constraints. County also reserves the right to consider all safety and security issues. 2.2. Facilities The main facility must have a minimum of three (3) gasoline pumps and three (3) diesel fuel pumps to accommodate users. The facility should provide suitable all weather and safe access to County’s entire fleet, including heavy trucks and construction equipment. 2.3. Fuel Contractor shall provide regular unleaded fuel of not less than eighty-seven (87) octane, midgrade unleaded fuel of not less than eighty-nine (89) octane, premium-grade unleaded fuel of not less than ninety-one (91) octane, and number two (2) clear diesel fuel at main facility. 2.4. Interruptions in Services Contractor shall notify County, TCTC and TCTA, in writing, at least three (3) days in advance of any foreseeable potential interruptions in service (e.g. – work stoppages, facility/equipment maintenance, etc.) so that all vehicles may be refilled, if necessary, prior to the anticipated down time.
