1. The Base Bid is to include all work as detailed in the Drawings, and specifications to upgrade the current 30-year-old elevator system at the Manchester Police Department Headquarters located at 239 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: A. Retain capacity of 2100 lb elevator. B. Maintain front and rear opening design as per existing conditions. C. Furnish and install new oil rated for hydraulic application. D. Furnish and install new “state of the art” microprocessor controller and leveling/ landing system. E. Furnish and install new soft starter, new mump motor and new valve. F. Replace car door operator with new closed loop door operator including mechanical door restrictor. G. Replace the existing hoistway door equipment (tracks, rollers, interlocks, closers). H. Replace car operating panel and signal fixtures with LED illuminated buttons and all ADA/ Fire Service code compliant features
