The scope of work generally consists of Complete Street Improvements on John Downey Drive between South Street and Newington Avenue (SR 174). The work includes installation of new granite curbing, new bituminous concrete multi-use trail, new concrete sidewalks and pedestrian ramps to meet current ADA standards, new concrete driveway aprons, replacement of existing catch basin tops and installation of new catch basins, milling and paving, installation of new signage and pavements markings, installation of new street trees, replacement of the traffic control signal at the John Downey Drive and South Street intersection, minor traffic signal modifications at the John Downey Drive and Newington Avenue (SR 174) intersection.
