San Bernardino purchased an un-occupied two-story building located at 303 West 5th Street in the City of San Bernardino. The property includes ground level parking underneath the building’s second floor level, an adjacent surface parking lot and an additional undeveloped lot along 5th Street. This addition to the County’s real estate portfolio will support the overall goal of portfolio optimization, improving County facilities and workplace environments, consolidating like functions to support departmental effectiveness, and the exit of leased facilities as appropriate. 303 West 5th Street is a general office building constructed in 1977. The structure consists of approximately 26,553 usable square feet (USF). The building is currently unoccupied. The project will provide administrative office space for Community Development and Housing (CDH) and Office of Homeless Services (OHS).
