This project will allow for the measurement of air toxic compounds in communities to ensure public health protection. The real-time air monitoring data will be used to better understand the cumulative health impacts of air toxics emissions from various stages of oil and gas production. To achieve this goal, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Air Pollution Control Division (APCD) is expanding their analytical capabilities for stationary monitoring projects to support monitoring of air toxics in Colorado communities. The purpose of the Invitation for Bid (IFB1) is to obtain competitive bids for Micro Gas Chromatographs for the ATOPs program. CDPHE reserves the right to purchase additional instrumentation as a result of this IFB1.
