The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as ONWASA) requests proposals to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the new brine tank project at the Dixon Water Treatment Plant (WTP), 6661 Wilmington Highway, Holly Ridge, NC 28445. The project will consist of the addition of a new brine tank, replacement of existing tank sight glass and level control assembly, replacement of existing tank make up water and brine piping, connection of makeup water and brine piping from the existing tank to the new tank, associated electrical and SCADA additions, and relocation of an existing electrical line. The new brine tank shall be completely automatic and self-contained salt storage and salt dissolving unit for producing fully saturated brine from rock, solar or evaporated salt products capable of producing 20 to 35 gallons per minute of saturated brine flow under normal operating conditions.
