The scope of work of this contract will include: Meeting with USFS, FFSL and RRR staff to review the project as a whole and determine the best plan of action for meeting the following objectives: Reinforce, if needed, work already done to protect the access road on creek left by arresting lateral movement and reinforcing the bank in key locations where the corridor is tight. Reduce the gradient of the stream throughout the reach from the crossing above the Day Use Picnic Area (shown on project documents) to the Forest Boundary using in stream structures appropriately located, similar to the 404 Permit project proposal. This may include additional in stream structures in key locations, planting, or seeding. Work from the Forest Boundary to the downstream most work area from spring 2024 to help stabilize the fill that has been deposited since the Pack Creek Fire in this reach, as well as reduce flooding potential on the road and connect to the EWP work being implemented in Pack Creek Ranch area. Adjust project in light of flooding that has occurred since the initial project design for permitting. Developing a plan for work including timing outside of high flows in the creek that will include an anticipated schedule of work, once a contract has been awarded. The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with all state and federal environmental regulations throughout the duration of the project. All equipment brought to the project site will be clean and free of weed seed.
