All work shall be performed as indicated on plans and specification and include every aspect of work as obvious or implied and necessary to make work complete and fully operational. The general scope of work for this project is as follows: a. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment required to perform soilnailed sloped stabilization of the area shown on the Construction Drawing. Engineering drawings/ design calculations shall be submitted to the City for approval prior to construction. See “Technical Specifications” section below for additional information on soil nailing requirements. No sub-surface geotechnical investigation of the project area has been completed. b. Soil Nails shall be designed with a minimum factor of safety equal to 1.5.
