Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Minnesota Department of Education intends to proceed with the renewal of Legacy LETRS Facilitator Bundle (Digital E[1]Book + License) and LETRS Facilitator Online Renewal with Symposium. MDE is continuing with implementing LETRS and studying what districts must learn to do and support to significantly improve student literacy outcomes. Lexia is the sole source of the facilitator materials and symposia. Since 2021, our partners have delivered training within the district and region. Given that our project sites continue to scale training and coaching to reach every teacher in their district, including newly hired staff, we need to maintain certification for the local facilitators. Changing vendors would mean adding costs to retraining facilitators and coaches. Additionally, trainers would have to translate content so that new and existing staff would have the same language and understanding as all the teachers previously trained with LETRS.
