• Participate in coordination meetings with City staff. • Participate in key stakeholder meetings (City, County, PG&E, FID, FMFCD, Fresno Unified School District, public, etc.). • Conduct 3 community meetings with renderings, exhibits, and presentations. • Conduct site investigation in order to prepare construction documents. • Identify utility conflicts. • Prepare utility notification letters to various utilities and agencies. • Prepare and submit utility research. • Prepare and provide pothole exhibit based on utility research and engineer’s recommendation identifying potential utility conflicts. • Maintain record/log of utility letters and utility letter responses that will be available upon request • Process City provided topographic survey information. • Provide different concepts for the reconfiguration of Cesar Chavez (formerly known as California Avenue) and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Pottle Avenue intersection • Provide recommendation for location of HAWKS • Geotechnical testing and recommendations • Prepare and submit necessary documents to agencies for utility relocations. • Prepare and provide pothole exhibit based on utility research and engineer’s recommendation identifying potential utility conflicts • Identify and prepare required right-of-way exhibits, coversheets, deeds and maps showing required right-of-way acquisition. • Prepare appraisal maps detailing all acquisitions and any Temporary Construction Easements. • Prepare construction plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates at each phase of work identified in the consultant agreement. • Submit construction documents to City office for stakeholder review. • Obtain final signatures on construction documents by City and stakeholders. • As part of the bidding phase, attend the pre-bid conference, prepare addenda and clarifications if necessary, and attend bid opening. • As part of the construction phase and general construction contract administration, attend the pre- construction conference, review shop drawings and other contractor submittals, provide clarification of construction documents during construction, review and provide technical information for construction contract change order requests if necessary, and perform as many as two site visits during construction. • Prepare record drawings documents using the as-built improvements.
