The scope of services for this investigation include evaluation of exploratory soil test pits and description of subsurface materials and condition; performing a site reconnaissance of the area proposed for development. Developing criteria for grading and earthwork and to generate an adequate report for the Karuk Tribe construction team. The report will be needed to assist the Karuk Tribe in the design efforts a new 10 acer Medical complex. Bid should be based on the following tasks: 1. Description of local geology and geomorphology. 2. Description of subsurface soil and groundwater conditions. 3. Assessment of potential geologic and geotechnical including earthquake-related surface rupture, liquefaction, settlement (total and differential), site instability, and discussion of potential mitigation measures as necessary. 4. Recommendations for grading, earthwork, site and subgrade preparations, fill placement, compaction requirements and erosion control. 5. Flood Plain Mitigation.
