Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Site is defined as #0 Great Island in Darien. This driveway entrance to this property is from the intersection of Rings End Road and Long Neck Point Road. 2. As mentioned above the scope of this project will include but to be limited to covering the designated area (grass must be cut as low as possible) with orange snow fence (or approved equal) prior to the placement of 8” thick native clean fill and 4” thick of topsoil. Edges of fill area to be sloped to original grade as shown on the plan detail. Then seed and hay the top soiled area with a standard sun and shade grass seed mix. Hydro seeding is an acceptable alternate. Watering will be performed by the Town of Darien DPW. 3. The Town must approve any storage area on site for material and equipment during the project prior to the commencement of any work. 4. The Contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of all debris and is responsible for keeping the construction site, driveways and storage areas neat and clean. 5. The existing driveway MUST open at all times…slight delays shall be acceptable. 6. The site must be accessible to residents for safe travels around Great Island. 7. Property must be accessible on weekends…therefore the site must be clean and safe. Mobilize and Demobilize; Obtain and Install Silt Fence; Excavate area along driveway (show on plan) & spread throughout designated Area
