The Greater New Haven Transit District is seeking Quotes from qualified contractors to furnish and install GNHTD specified markings and decals on its’ fleet vehicles. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and installing the decals onto new vehicles as well as vehicles that require partial replacement of decals (as needed). GNHTD will require a minimum of 25 new vehicles to be decaled in the initial year (12 immediately upon contract execution) and anticipates approximately 12 new vehicles will require graphics furnished and installed annually thereafter. The District maintains a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles, and therefore the maximum number of vehicles to be serviced under this Agreement. The majority of the GNHTD Fleet is comprised of Ford E-350 cutaways and Ford Transit cutaways. The District also currently has approximately 4 Transit Vans, 4 SUV’s, 2 Pickup Trucks, and 5 Caravans. Please note, due to different model years and different vehicle options selected there may be discrepancies in the shape and size or cut of the decals among each vehicle type (for example, we have E-350’s with 138” wheelbase and others with 158” wheelbase, we also have Transit Vans with medium-roof and with high-top roof). The contractor will be responsible for making these adjustments as needed per task order, however pricing will be determined by vehicle type regardless of the discrepancies among that type (firm fixed unit pricing per vehicle type). New vehicles being serviced will not have the 50th anniversary logo, an alternative option will be in place (such as the standard GNHTD bus logo).
