Wake County, North Carolina is seeking qualifications and proposals from consulting firms to develop a comprehensive Strategic Plan for the Wake County Animal Center. The Strategic Plan should position the Animal Center to achieve their future goals, ensure a new facility under consideration is staffed to serve the growing community for the next 20-30 years, and share the plan with the community and partners so they can support and complement division services. Services that should be included in the Strategic Plan proposal include: • How to be a nationally recognized program in the newly designed facility • Staffing levels needed both currently and in the future • Updating of the Community Needs Assessment to determine outreach and engagement needs
