1. Inspect work quality and materials used in a variety of Capital Improvement Projects to ensure compliance with applicable specifications, codes, ordinances, and regulations. 2. Inspect street improvements projects including survey staking, subgrade preparation, and placement of various rehabilitation and maintenance treatments. 3. Prepare detailed documentation of construction progress and inspection using City designated forms. Prepare various reports on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly operations and activities. 4. Attend pre-construction and construction progress meetings as necessary. 5. Verify site conditions such as adequacy of survey staking, adjoining property conditions, vehicular traffic and pedestrian problems, utility interference, drainage conditions, workspace, storage, and stockpiling.
