A. Website Redesign and Development: Design a visually appealing and modern website that aligns with WRCOG’s brand and current web standards. Include a front page banner with content management system (CMS) embedded video functionality. Ensure that the design is responsive, providing optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Develop the website using a CMS that allows for easy updating and management by WRCOG’s internal team. Event portal including registration software with payment portal capabilities (including accepting checks for registration and invoicing capabilities), badging and table seating capabilities, customized fields, sponsor features, and event app. (This item is preferred, but not mandatory for bid on this project.) B. Integration and Linking: Integrate links to external third-party hosted services, such as the agendas and minutes repository, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility for users. Database driven page option for updating Executive Committee members, job announcements, news releases, and calendar / event plug in. Optional: Add in a California State Bill Tracker, email subscription services, form creation services, and social media displays for website (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), member portal for quick access to important documents. C. Compliance and Accessibility: Ensure the website meets all applicable government ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance requirements, ensuring accessibility for all users. Include features such as text resizing, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) landmarks. D. Hosting and Technical Support: Provide reliable web hosting services that ensure high uptime and optimal loading speeds. Include ongoing technical support and troubleshooting post-launch to resolve any issues related to hosting or technical glitches. E. Content Management and Training: Implement a CMS that is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing the internal team to manage and update content without advanced technical skills. Provide training to a designated group of staff members on how to use the CMS effectively for content updates, including text, images, and multimedia.
