Contractor must provide fire plan check services: Contractor must augment fire plan review for Private Development projects and Capital and Non-Capital Projects under the review authority of ACFD. Private Development projects include but are not limited to the following categories: Fire Sprinkler Permits Fire Alarm Permits Multifamily Homes Fixed Fire System Permits Single Family Homes Tract Developments ACFD Capital and Non-Capital Projects include but are not limited to the following categories (new construction and renovation projects): Community Facilities Fire Stations Hospital and Health Care Facilities Jail Facilities Major Tenant Improvements Parking Garage Structures Supportive Services Facilities and Transitional Housing Surface Parking Lots Training Facilities Plan Check and Permit Issuance Phase: Assist ACFD in reviewing construction plans and documents for compliance with Federal, State, and Local fire code amendments and in accordance with the California Fire Code (CFC) and the California Building Code (CBC), including but not limited to the following: Alameda County Ordinance Code 6.04 for the CFC. Alameda County Ordinance Code 15.08 for the CBC. Consult with ACFD to determine inspection standards that will be applied during construction. Review plans and specifications for constructability and make recommendations for necessary or desirable changes. Attend in-person meetings as required by the County. Meetings are held at various County locations and will be determined as required. Work directly with permit applicants to complete Plan Check process. Contractor must provide a Project Manager that: Must oversee all work as required for the contract resulting from the RFQ. Must act as ACFD’s contact for all communications related to the assigned tasks. Must be responsible for all management, administration, technical oversight of the tasks and supervision of the Contractor’s employees assigned to County work. Must provide ACFD with monthly progress reports and any reports as requested by the County.
