As a key contributor, and expert in the field of mountain biking instruction, the responder will work closely with the MNDNR PAT in the development of program objectives and expectations, site selection, program framework and more. The responder must be able to meet in person with MNDNR PAT staff following the awarding of the contract. Meeting may take place at either the St Paul DNR office or Cuyuna Country SRA. Following the initial meeting regular phone and email communication will take place as needed; the responder must be accessible and able to respond to requests promptly. The responder may also be required to lead a mock program for MDNR PAT staff as part of the planning process. Overall program management will be the responsibility of the MNDNR PAT. The primary responsibility of the successful responder will be the delivery of programs, which includes staffing, instruction and providing equipment at all programs. Program requirements include: Minimum of four instructors per program, one lead instructor and three assistants. Minimum of three days of programming per year. Each day of programming shall consist of three sessions throughout the day: 9:00 – 11:30 a.m., Noon – 2:30 p.m., 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. Programs will take place at Cuyuna Country SRA during the summer seasons of 2025-2027. Exact dates of the program will be determined following the finalization of the contract. Additional programs outside of the summer season are an option.
