The town of North Stonington is actively seeking bids for installation of a membrane roof to replace existing ballast rock roof currently installed on two story section of the property known as the North Stonington education center. Bids are to include full installation of a two layer mechanically attached 2.6” Poly ISO for a minimum R-30 value . Tapered crickets are required between the current roof drains. Install a fully adhered Carlisle .060 EPDM roofing system and flashing of the EPDM roof to wall sections. Install flashings and membrane termination at unit curbs, penetrations and other vertical transitions to properly terminate the roof membrane and flashings. Install walkway pads around roof equipment . Install new fabricated edge metal in dark bronze around the perimeter. Included in bid is any cost associated with all removal of current roof debris, material, or labor taxes.
