Lake County Government invites competitive proposals from qualified professionals to provide expertise and support for Lake County Department of Human Services (“LCDHS”) as it works to improve internal language access initiatives (“Language Access”) and expand its language access efforts across other human services departments through the state. In addition to having experience with the interpretation industry, language access policy, and language access training, the contracted consultant should have demonstrated expertise in language, culture, communications, equity, and diversity topics. Consultants with resumes that boast experience working within the Human Services realm and/or within local or state government agencies, strongly preferred.
