Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Provide evidence of Department of Health Services Outpatient Treatment Center license to operate a Health Clinic. b) Industrial injury examinations, drug and alcohol screening; hearing and vision testing, with an option for mobile on-sight screenings for hearing and vision. c) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) physical exams and medical certifications in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Federal Transit Authority (FTA). d) Perform pre-employment physical exams in accordance with OSHA regulations, annual physicals on City employees and potential employees. e) Return to duty physicals, exposures in compliance with NFPA 1581, post exposure prophylaxis in accordance with CDL guidelines and treatment and OSHA regulations, counseling and treatment (including prescription), independent medical exams and Firefighter Fitness programs in compliance with NFPA 1583 and vaccines. f) Remain current on testing and medical standards for all Services to be performed, reporting procedures and related laws and practices. g) Be expected to maintain current knowledge on laboratory services, reporting procedures and related laws and practices. h) Have knowledge of the duties and responsibilities as well as physical and mental stresses of the position for which the services are being performed.
