Specifications include, but are not limited to: provision or extension of the storm water drainage system on Fern Hill Road & Smith Pond Road in Watertown, Connecticut in accordance with the project plans and specifications. All work is to be performed in accordance with the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation “Standard Specifications for Roads, Bridges and Incidental Construction, Form 819”, as supplemented and as amended below. However, it should be noted that reference to the Form of 819 is for convenience only and is not meant to imply or to infer that this project is an 819 project or that all the terms and conditions of the Form 819 apply. Mobilization, demobilization, handling water, curbing repair, loam and seed of all disturb areas, dust control, dewatering, saw cutting, tack coating, utility protection and construction staking will not be bid separately, but the price of such work as may be required shall be included in the unit price bid for the work. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to provide, arrange for and coordinate any utility support, protection or relocations required for this project.
