The project to be constructed consists of road rehabilitation overlay work on all streets listed below: 1. Marion Way – Placerado Avenue to 126 Marion Way 2. Gum Lane – Canal Bridge to Bike Path 3. Maidu Drive – Auburn Folsom to Burlin Way 4. Shirland Tract – Maidu Drive to Grayhorse Drive (Additive Alternate) Additional work will include over-excavation in areas of poor structural integrity, planning of existing asphalt concrete along gutters and intersections, adjusting manholes and valve boxes to grade, ADA curb ramp rehabilitation, pavement restriping, and traffic control. Marion Way will consist of grinding and removing 4” of existing material. Then, work will consist of a 3” asphalt concrete overlay with Aramid Fiber over top a minimum of 4 inches of aggregate base. The bid item for aggregate base in these locations will include all work associated with compacting, leveling, and grading base to place 3 inches of asphalt concrete above the surface. Gum Lane will consist of a 4” grind and recompact along the parking area in front of 100 Gum Lane and 102 Gum Lane as well as a 2” edge grind from the canal bridge to the beginning of the aforementioned parking area. A 2” overlay with Aramid Fiber will be placed overtop the path of travel from the canal bridge to the bike path trail edge.
