Scope of Services outlines the requirements for emergency remediation, mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction services for the Public Works Department, Facilities/Building Maintenance Division. Services provided are performed as needed and aim to resolve damage caused by emergencies, including but not limited to, natural disasters, fires, floods, biological incidents, hazardous materials, vandalism, and homelessness-related incidents. The objectives of these services are: Rapid Response and Management: Provide immediate support to manage emergency situations affecting city facilities and infrastructure, employee, and public safety well-being. Effective Mitigation: Implement strategies to minimize further damage and risks. Thorough Restoration: Restore affected areas to pre-emergency conditions or improved standards. Comprehensive Reconstruction: Rebuild and repair damaged structures and systems in compliance with local regulations and standards. Construction services limited to the repair of pre-existing facilities, no new construction. Services Provided: Emergency Response and Assessment Remediation and Mitigation Cleanup and Restoration of Areas Affected by Homelessness-Related Incidents Restoration and Reconstruction Progress and Status Reports Performance Standards Proposers must include the Attachment F - Cost Proposal as part of their bid.
