Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. GPS Data Collection and Compatibility with ESRI ArcPro: ● Accurately collect and record attribute data, coordinates, & pictures for each water valve within the specified size range (2 to 36 inches). ● Horizontal and vertical accuracy tolerances will be at the subfoot level and should be collected using NC's Real-Time Network and DGPS methods. ● All data products will be delivered in NAD 1983 North Carolina State Plane Coordinate System FIPS 3200 (US Feet). ● Final deliverables will be in an ESRI file geodatabase format adhering to a schema determined prior to data collection. ● Collect a minimum of 3 photographs per valve: 2. Valve Access: ● Adjust the height of each valve box as necessary to meet optimal operational standards. ● Align valve boxes to ensure proper functionality and accessibility. ● Conduct thorough cleaning of valve boxes as needed to remove debris and ensure unobstructed valve operation. 3. Valve Exercise and Turn Count: ● Systematically exercise each water valve to assess its operational condition. ● Record and report the number of turns required for each valve, providing a quantitative measure of functionality. 4. Confined Space Entry: ● ● Ensure personnel are properly trained and equipped for safe entry into confined spaces, adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations set forth by OSHA 5.
