Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Obtain a permit from the Department of Labor prior to performing any work. A plan review has been completed and an application number will be provided to the successful bidder. • All reasonable attempts will be made to minimize disruption to the current building staff. • Provide labor and materials to evacuate the existing freon and recycle. • Disconnect electrical and prepare for new unit. • Disconnect liquid and suction lines and prepare for new unit. • Remove existing condenser and dispose/ recycle. • Fabricate and install (1) 30” tall 4”x4”x¼” galvanized steel stand to elevate condenser 30” off the ground to mitigate the wildlife problems. • Provide and install (1) YorkYC240C00A2BAB5 20-ton condenser or approved equivalent to the following specifications. o York model YC240C00A2BAB5 20 Ton, Split System R-410A Air Conditioner, 2-Pipe R-410A, Two Stage Cooling, Standard Motor, 208/230-3-60 HACR Circuit Breaker/Disconnect (Sized for 208 Volts) Phase Monitor Smart Equipment Controller o 1HG0429 Hail Guard o 2HG04700624 Hot Gas Bypass Kit; Includes discharge bypass valve and copper pipe fittings for field installation. Used to modulate capacity at low load conditions. • Caulk all openings under condenser, leaving only necessary weep holes. • Provide labor and materials extend the existing electrical to the new condenser. • Provide labor and materials to extend the existing suction and liquid lines to the new condenser. • Provide and fill system with to proper pressures. • Provide and install removable cottonwood screens. • Provide start-up and check for proper operation. • All work will be done during normal working hours. • Clean mechanical work site daily during construction. • Provide all permits and fees required by local and state agencies for mechanical work.
