Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2024 OR NEWER FORD F-250 4X4 SERVICE TRUCK OR COUNTY APPROVED EQUIVALENT 2.1. Provide and install one (1), Knapheide 696 steel service body, or County approved equivalent, in quality, construction, compartment sizes, and warranty. 2.2. Paddle-actuated rotary latches with locks, all keyed alike. 2.3. Master locks for compartments on both sides of body. 2.4. Door hinges shall be continuous type, constructed of stainless steel. 2.5. Door retainers, double spring over-center, on all vertical doors. 2.6. Body walls and compartment floors constructed using minimum 14- gauge steel, with galvanneal coating on both sides. 2.7. Body doors should be double panel with hat section reinforcements, constructed using minimum 20 gauge steel with galvanneal coating on both sides; 2.8. Bed floor fabricated with minimum 12-gauge treadplate steel with galvanneal coating on both sides. 2.9. All body seams to be sealed and underbody to be fully undercoated. 2.10. All doors and door openings shall have drip rails. All other edges shall be rolled for strength and safety.
