Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University has provided a detailed survey and condition assessment outlining each of the areas that will need repair. This assessment has categorized the tunnel in the following: 118' +/- of severe damage, 100' +/- moderate damage, and 40' +/- minor damage. The tunnel's liner has severe spalling and erosion. In addition to the repairs of Tunnel 13, the selected Respondent will be required to provide a viability study of "hard armouring" of the secondary overflow on Tunnel 13. This Project scope will also extend to minor concrete repair of the outlet pipe and possible addition of riprap in the outlet channel of Tunnel 18. It is required from the University’s Energy Management department that the selected Respondent has relevant experience with tunnel lining. This RFP is requesting Design/Build (D/B) services for design services (Predesign/precon through Construction Administration) and construction for the repair of Stormwater Tunnel 13. Basic services are to include but are not limited to architecture, engineering, and cost estimating services based on the identified scope.
