• Provide and install 2’ x 2’ceiling tiles in existing grid. Tiles are to be Armstrong CALLA Square Lay-in Tegular or approved equal (to be determined by District) • The contractor shall be responsible to; • Removal and proper disposal of all existing ceiling tiles • Remove and reinstall/reconnect any and all ceiling fixtures such as lights fixtures or HVAC grills that may need to be moved during ceiling tile installations. • Coordinate the removal and reinstallation of Safety and Security Components such as Fire Alarm fixtures, surveillance cameras, smoke detectors and exit signs • Provide a detailed schedule at least 3 weeks prior to starting work in order for the District to coordinate to schedule summer cleaning operations. • Include for all ladders, scaffolding, lifts and equipment to perform the Work. • Provide the proper amount of qualified personnel to manage the Work in order to properly complete the work within the contractual schedule. • Keep site clean from all garbage and debris caused by performing the Work and is to keep site clean from all garbage and debris caused by performing the Work • Shall notify the district of any with the existing grid system and if approved, shall make repairs via the identified allowance ($20,000) • Take delivery of all manufactured materials in original containers bearing manufacturer’s name and brand. Only one brand/model/color tile is to be used throughout job. Store materials within building in locations as directed by District. • Order additional 5% of type of acoustical unit specified, for maintenance use, at no additional cost to the City. The additional “attic stock” will be turned over to the District in unmarked and undamaged packing as received from the vendor. • Desks and classroom furniture will be left in classrooms, offices and work spaces throughout the project. The contractor will need to work around these larger items. The District will assist in moving smaller pieces of furniture as needed. District Staff will put away smaller items so there is clear floor space to work with. • The contractor shall be responsible for dust control and project clean up at the end of each shift. As an example, desks, furniture and classroom electronics (desktops, Smart Boards etc..) shall be covered with plastic while working within the room and the contractor shall be responsible for vacuuming or cleaning up and dust and debris. • Contractor shall be responsible for daily site clear of materials removed and packaging materials. • Provide a one-year parts and labor warranty as well as any additional manufacturer warranties. • A qualified representative from the Lead Contractor MUST be onsite daily. This representative will have thorough knowledge of the project including but limited to: Scope of Work to be performed, logistical plans, product delivery dates and schedule of work.
