Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Rhode Island is soliciting proposals from qualified firms toserve as an Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) service provider during the DDI phase that replaces its current child welfare information system with a solution that is fully compliant with the federally administered Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) program. The awarded firm is expected to assist the State and the Systems Implementation partner minimize the risk associated with implementing a modern CCWIS solution. The IV&V vendor’s scope includes review of processes, deliverables and artifacts associated with the implementation of the CCWIS system. It also includes an assessment of the Systems Implementation vendor and State processes and management of the project. The IV&V vendor is expected to independently develop procedures to detect risks and issues proactively and provide the State with recommendations for proactive strategies to mitigate these risks.
