Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF), seeks a qualified contractor to assemble three (3) “tiny home” housing units for the Tok Area Forestry & Fire Protection Office. Each housing unit will be timber frame assembly approximately 12ft by 20ft in size with a 12ft by 4ft porch. Each housing unit will meet the following criteria or approved equivalent: Foundation/Base - Treated timber will be used to support the entire structure - Timber base will be supported by concrete support blocks; Floor/Subfloor/Bottom Sheathing - Floor will have R30 insulation (spray foam or fiber) within floor joist cavities - Floor joists will be spaced at 16” on center - Bottom of floor joists and cavities will be coveredwith OSB or plywood to protect insulation - 3/4” subfloor, either CDX plywood or Tongue and Groove sheathing; Walls/Exterior Sheathing - Walls will be framed using 2x6 lumber - Walls will have minimum of R21 insulation (spray foam or fiber) - Vapor barrier and exterior water-resistant barrier “house wrap” must be installed - 7/16 OSB or plywood will be used for exterior sheathing (including gable ends and eves) - Exterior walls will be finished with T1-11 siding or approved alternative...
