Specifications include, but are not limited to: The general scope of work is the proposed project will construct a south-north low-stress bicycle boulevard between 30th Street and 4th Street. The project includes the design of a road gap on N Avenue between Plaza Blvd and 9th Street. This portion work would consist of removing the existing vegetation, portions of asphalt and concrete improvements, perform extensive grading within this area for the addition of CMU retaining wall, chain link fence, installation of a Filterra Biofiltration system and complete final curb and gutter, asphalt and sidewalk improvements with these limits. In addition to the N Ave. connection work described above, the project also consists of reconstructing 45 ADA ramps along the corridor, portions of 2” mill and overlay, pavement rehabilitation, Type II slurry with crack fill and restriping L Ave. from 30th to where it connects to N Ave., N Ave. crossing E. Plaza Blvd. to E 8th Street, where striping would continue west on E. 8th to M Ave. and continue north on M Ave. to 4th. Striping improvements would include removal of existing striping improvements, minor realignment, green bike boxes, roadway sharrows, continental crosswalks, thermoplastic pavements markings at STOP locations and miscellaneous signage.
