Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1. Prior Approval: The contractor must obtain prior approval from the District before the commencement of any work. 3.2. Site Preparation: Thoroughly clear the designated area of all existing and remaining vegetation, debris, and any other obstacles that would hinder construction. This may involve the removal of brush, shrubs, large rocks, and other impediments. The site preparation area is approximately 300 square feet and is labeled as “Fenced-In Station,” outlined in yellow in the picture below. 3.3. Debris Removal: Meticulously remove and dispose of any non-vegetative debris, including trash, construction materials, and hazardous waste, strictly following relevant laws and regulations. The contractor must prioritize the proper disposal of hazardous materials to ensure environmental safety. 3.4. Soil Stabilization: Employ effective measures to stabilize the soil disturbed during the clearing process. This is crucial to prevent erosion and minimize dust generation, ensuring the surrounding environment is protected. 3.5. Site Cleanup: Upon completion of the project, meticulously clean the site and leave it in a pristine and debris-free state. This includes removal of all leftover materials and equipment used during the clearing process. 3.6. Install concrete pavers within the cage. 3.6.1. Remove any weeds or debris within the cage. 3.6.2. Concrete pavers must be installed within the interior of the cage to prevent the presence of weeds and/or other plant debris. 3.6.3. The pavers must not exceed the inner dimensions of the cage. 3.6.4. Any sand or similar material typically needed may be used. 3.6.5. Edging to prevent movement of pavers over time should be used. 3.6.6. Tan or grey color pavers should be used. 3.6.7. No specific pattern or design is required. Should be kept as simple and cost efficient as possible. See below picture for desired outcome.
