Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Temporarily move the piano, armoire, tables, table rack and chair rack to a safe and protected location prior to cleaning surface and preparing wood floor. • Carefully wash or brush all floor surfaces • Sand and prepare wooden floor o Note: The original wood floor has some small cracks and a few exposed nail heads. Take extra care sanding the original wood floor in the main area. The wood in the entrance area, near the bathrooms and up to the double doors, is newer and sanding should not be an issue.) • Resurface and coat the wooden floor with two coats of a high-quality clear finish • Extra care should be taken to protect historic floor, trim and walls • Clean up after project completion, the schoolhouse should be in visitor ready condition
