Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Little Creek Greenway Phase 2 project proposed to extend a greenway 3,500 ft from the current terminus of Little Creek Greenway Phase 1 near Atwood Acres to Somerset Drive. The greenway will be a ten-foot asphalt path with ditches and drainage. Improvements are also proposed along Somerset Drive to connect to the greenway to adjacent neighborhoods. The Salem Creek Greenway Pedestrian Sidepath project proposed to construct an alternative route for the Salem Creek Greenway from Washington Park to Peters Creek Parkway, following Hutton Street, Link Road, and Lockland Avenue. This project will add improvements for both pedestrians and bicycle user including the installation of sidewalk, curb ramps and refuge islands as well as resurfacing the route for bike lanes. Improvements also include modifications to two traffic signals to accommodate pedestrian movements.
