• Mobilization/Demobilization of necessary and sufficient sized equipment to the project areas to complete the project within the stated time frames. • Survey and construction layout of facilities, constructions, and appurtenances shown on the Plans. • Quality control. • Erosion and sediment control during construction in accordance with the approved Construction Stormwater Permit and Plans. • Clearing and grubbing of the site and, removal of debris, trash, junk, tree roots, and associated material. Demolition and proper disposal of old structures onsite. • Stripping, segregation, and stockpiling topsoil and soils suitable for use as soil cover that are generated by the project excavation. • Control of groundwater springs, normal runoff, and storm drainage during construction so that work can be performed in the dry. • Proper removal and disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) and Creosote Contaminated Wood (CCW) at an approved landfill. • Demolition of existing structures and proper disposal of debris offsite at an approved landfill or in the waste area shown on the plans as required by these Specifications. Demolition will include removal and proper disposal of diesel fuel in the above ground steel storage tank and removal/disposal of the steel tank. • Construction of a temporary access road, stream crossing, and stone work pad at the timber structure HEF-2 to provide access and stabilize the work area. • Excavation, backfill, and fill placement as required to construct the project complete. • Construction of surface drainage control channels and channel road crossings. • Removal of an existing 18-inch steel culvert and replacement with a riprap trapezoidal channel road crossing. • Unclogging an existing 12-inch CMP drain pipe. • Installation of a wet mine seal. • Construction of vegetated “VEE” channel road ditches and road surface grading to drain to the ditches. • Construction of four riprap VEE channel road crossings and riprap VEE outlet channels. • Gravel Access Road Rehabilitation and Access Road Construction. • Placement of 12" soil cover over exposed refuse and areas disturbed by cleanup of trash/garbage and demolition. • Waste of excess soil and re-vegetation of disturbed areas.
