This contract is for the procurement of portable toilets and handwashing units (portable sanitary units). The City of Berkeley (“City”) is seeking the renting, cleaning and maintenance of portable toilets and handwashing units at multiple locations city-wide on a regular ongoing; as-needed; City programs or special events; emergency basis; and at construction sites, throughout the year. Contracted services should be scalable to need, and responsive to accommodate shifting usage demands. As part of this contract, the contracted Vendor (“Contractor”) shall also clean, maintain, repair, move, relocate and replace these portable sanitary units according to an established schedule, and as needed and or directed by the City. As a condition of submitting a proposal for this program, the Proposer understands and agrees these service and equipment needs are subject to change at any time. Also, if such changes occur, the Contractor’s pricing shall remain the same as those set forth in its proposal.
