DASH removal of EWM shall be performed in the “large Bowl” portion of Lake Garfield as described in Notice of Intent (NOI) 230-0300 and inclusive of all the requirements of the associated Order of Conditions. See the updated locations of EWM patches in Phase 1 and Phase 2 areas of the “large bowl”as shown in the attachment Lake Garfield Eurasian watermilfoil Survey dated April 25, 2024. All DASH work shall proceed in consultation with the Lake Garfield Working Group (LGWG) who will assist in finding the location of EWM patches to be removed and will have the greatest beneficial impact to the health of Lake Garfield. Phase 1- area is defined as that portion of Lake Garfield in the northwest corner of the “ large bowl” indicated as various patches of EWM from way points WP89 and WP168 -WP194 with their corresponding longitudes and latitudes. Work in this area shall be conducted during the 2024 Fall season unless otherwise directed by the LGWG. Phase 2 - area is defined as that portion of Lake Garfield in the middle and southeast sections of the “large bowl” indicated as various patches of EWM from way points WP94 -WP96 and WP140 - WP204 with their corresponding longitudes and latitudes. Weather, budget and time permitting, DASH removal of EWM shall be performed in this area of various EWM patches in Lake Garfield only in consultation with the LGWG.
