Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected vendor will be responsible to respond to all traffic signal issues as directed by the Town during the stated period. In the event of a system malfunction, equipment damage, external damage, or equipment failure an authorized Town representative will notify the contractor who shall then dispatch a licensed electrician with the skills and knowledge required and any vehicles and equipment needed to perform diagnostics of the issue and then make repairs as necessary to resume operation of the traffic signal. In the event of the need for extensive repairs, the contractor shall notify the Town’s Engineering Department and request authorization to proceed in ordering all materials required and shall immediately begin making those repairs.
