Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Windsor Locks, CT is soliciting sealed bids for a drainage & roadway improvement project located on Spring Street at the intersection of West Street and extending approximately 550 linear feet to the east and west of the intersection. This project generally consists of all necessary work to complete improvements as described on the Contract Plans and Specifications for the base bid. At the intersection with West Street, improvements include new storm drainage piping and structures, modifications to the existing traffic signal to include pedestrian signals. Approximately 1,200 linear feet of bituminous concrete pavement on Spring Street and the West Street intersection will reclaimed and include the installation of new processed aggregate base and bituminous concrete pavement. Other improvements include replacement concrete sidewalks and handicapped accessible ramps, new concrete curbing, concrete and bituminous concrete driveways and replacement catch basin tops as well as associated turf restoration, pavement markings and other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans or directed by the Owner.
