The City of Norwich Department of Public Utilities (NPU) is soliciting proposals from engineering consulting firms to provide engineering design services for the rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewers, manholes, and laterals for the purposes of structural integrity, increased capacity, increased service, and elimination of excessive infiltration and inflow. Rehabilitation methods are anticipated to be limited to cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPPL). Services may consist of, but are not limited to, review of background information, including record drawings and NPU’s GIS data, environmental desktop review, field investigations such as sanitary sewer cleaning and CCTV inspections, analysis of CCTV data, development of rehabilitation recommendations, estimation of conceptual construction costs, preparation of contract documents for bidding, permitting, bidding assistance, and construction administration .
