Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Remove and Replace Joint Sealants – Includes removal of existing joint sealants down to substrate. Includes cleaning and preparation of joint. Includes priming, if needed, of joint and installation of Sikaflex 2c-NS urethane sealant or equivalent. All products to be NSF-61 approved. Sealant to be installed per manufacturer recommendations. Includes bond breaker tape under all lifts, if needed. b. Recoat Ladder and Overflow Pipe – Includes mobilization, scaffolding, surface preparation per SSPC SP5 standards, spent abrasive disposal, epoxy coating system (18mils DFT min), plus stripe coat, and QA/QC. c. Hazardous Materials & Handling – Materials have been sampled. Refer to Appendix A-1 for sample reports. The work includes containment, sampling, and disposal of all hazardous materials per state and local ordinances and disposal at certified locations provided in Appendix A-2. d. Site preparation – Contractor shall cover all drains and outlets in the reservoir such that all materials are captured and disposed of correctly. e. Schedule and site access – i. Work hours, Monday – Friday, between 6:00 am – 3:30 pm ii. Facility access – contractor shall be provided access to the facility by District staff. Site shall be kept secure throughout the workday. Contractor shall ensure facility is locked and secured at the end of the workday. iii. Required completion date – Work shall be completed by November 20, 2024.
