The work shall include, but not limited to the following as shown on the Plans SI2023-01 and described in these Specifications 2024-02 of the San Diego Unified Port District. a. General Construction 1) Inspect, verify and protect bullet-resistant materials and assemblies, related components and hardware. 2) Coordinate the Work of the Contract Document with work performed by the District as indicated in Part 1.10 of this Section. 3) Removal and reinstallation and replacement of work obstructions including but not limited to window coverings, furniture, lamps, etc. 4) Protection of items indicated to remain. 5) Disposal and clean-up. b. Selective Demolition for Openings 1) Removal and salvage of door security keypads. 2) Selective door systems demolition (D1, D2, D3). 3) Restoration of damaged improvements to match existing. c. Installation of bullet-resistant products, related components and hardware per manufacturer's recommendations. 1) Installation of joint sealant in accordance with joint sealant manufacturer and bullet-resistant product vendor. 2) Furnish necessary incidentals to complete the installation of bullet-resistant products.
